Our company opened its first specialized aquarium and terrarium store in Budapest in 1986. Shortly after it’s establishment, simultaneously began manufacturing custom aquariums and terrariums.
Thanks to the completion of thousands of completed tanks, with customized water systems, unique decorations, ongoing developments, and import-export activities, our business secured a leading position in the custom aquarium manufacturing market by the turn of the millennium.
Nowadays, the Galápagos corporate group, with its diversified range of activities, specializes in planning, general construction, and operation of complete zoo exhibitions and museum displays, covering every aspect necessary for a ready-to-open exhibition. Public aquariums, water parks, artificial rock decorations, caves, waterfalls…

Our aim is to create a faithful replica of the natural habitat of animals that
show the ecological relationships and allow for the natural behaviour of animals.
We have already transplanted hundreds of mature trees in Hungary, and the success of these shows that the technology is safe.
Our first specialist shop opened more than 30 years ago, during which time we have built up
experience to help the pet owners who come to us.
