Implementation
Over the past decades, we have been involved in the planning and general implementation of numerous zoo exhibits, and we have built newly established zoos from the ground up.
In these cases, we had to envision and execute the complete facilities, background technology, and support
systems on empty land. In Poroszló, near Lake Tisza, we constructed Europe’s largest freshwater aquarium, complete with 1,000,000 liters of tanks, the associated water engineering, underwater and waterfront scenery. We then introduced over 50 species of fish, including giant catfish, into the aquarium, some of which are native to Hungary, and others that once lived here. We created the
Bodorka Aquarium in Balatonfüred, including the visitor-oriented aquarium and exhibition technology, showcasing the fish of Lake Balaton.
In the Budapest Zoo, we built Hungary’s largest marine aquarium, which we populated with sharks and rays.
Our company’s owner was responsible for the Fish-Water-Mankind Pavilion at the 2021 ONE with Nature Hunting and Nature World Exhibition, where, as a curator, he created a live presentation of Hungary’s rich aquatic and waterfront flora and fauna, both past and present, covering 3,000 square meters. This exhibition included Hungary’s largest mobile aquarium, with a capacity of 150,000 liters.
